New user

Welcome to the Libraries of the Municipality of Esbjerg. Once you have registered (free) as a user, you can use your yellow health card to borrow all kinds of materials. If you prefer to have a free library card, we can provide you with one.

To register as a user, please contact our staff at any of the local libraries. Remember to bring your yellow health card. If you wish to order materials right now, you can also register online.

Children under the age of 18 need to fill in a special form, signed by one of the parents.

The library card is free and personal. You are responsible for all materials registered to your account. Remember to always bring your library- or health card when visiting the library. If you lose your card, let us know immediately, in order to prevent abuse.

Both the library- and health card gives you access to the libraries during self-service hours.

Here at our website you are able to search, reserve, and renew materials, and you can also check the status of your own account. Add your mail address or phone number, and we will send you message a couple of days before you have to bring back the materials you have taken out, or when materials you have reserved are ready for you.
